Two photographs of Gerald
Durrell: a black & white picture where he is about 50 years old and
a "self portrait", a drawing by him of himself: a funny guy surrounded
by animals. |

Exclusive!
Two photographs of the White House and its surroundings on the island of
Corfu, Greece. This house was rented by Gerald's older brother, Lawrence
Durrell, but Gerald and his family often stayed there. These are
my exclusive photographs. They were sent to me by Louise Theobald from
the United Kingdom who was visiting Corfu at that time. |

A great site about Corfu, a Greek
island described in My Family and Other Animals, among Durrell's
other books. This web site is very informative, well designed and has many
curious facts. Submitted by Sarah via e-mail. Thanks.
